Deposit Terms & Conditions
1. Deposit Requirement
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on the trip.
- The deposit amount will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
2. Payment of Balance
- The remaining balance must be paid before the deadline specified in your booking confirmation.
- Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of deposit.
3. Cancellation by Participant
- Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
- If you cancel after paying the balance, refunds (excluding deposit) may be offered on a sliding scale depending on notice period:
- More than 60 days before departure: 75% refund of balance
- 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund of balance
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
4. Cancellation by Organizer
- If the trip is cancelled by the organizer (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or insufficient participants), participants will receive a full refund of all monies paid, including deposits.
5. Transfer of Booking
- Deposits may be transferred to another trip if requested at least 60 days before departure, subject to availability.
- Transfers requested less than 60 days before departure are at the organizer’s discretion.
6. Participant Responsibility
- It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have valid travel documents, insurance, and meet any health or legal requirements for the trip.
- The organizer is not liable for costs incurred due to failure to meet these requirements.
7. Force Majeure
- The organizer is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics). In such cases, deposits remain non-refundable but may be credited toward a future trip.
8. Agreement
- By paying a deposit, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
